Hi there, my name is Jalyn, owner + operator of happy tails academy!
I have been caring for pets since 2012, starting with a technician position at my local vet clinic in Winterset, IA.
In 2017, I moved to Ames, IA where I began my journey at Ames Pet Resort - managing dogs and staff and training dogs!
Happy Tails Academy was born in 2024!
In my free time, you can find me outside with my dogs, on a hike, reading a book, or listening to a good true crime podcast!
